This privacy policy details the information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, and what we do with it. This is information collected when you have requested to be added to our mailing list, enquired about a custom-made tour, if you have booked on a tour or enquired about visits, events or presentations by Wild Discovery, it’s employees or contractors. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act) and the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), Wild Discovery Ltd is the data controller of your personal information and is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) (registration number ZA760014).
What Data we Collect

Provided by you when filling out an enquiry form on our website or sign up to our newsletter, requesting further services or reporting a problem with the website;

We also keep a record of which tours or services you have used through Wild Discovery Ltd. We also record the date that you contacted us and, if we have that information, how you first found out about Wild Discovery Ltd.

Further Information on Third Party Sharing
For legitimate interest to deliver a product or service, Wild Discovery Ltd requires the sharing of information to third parties. Examples include passport or personal details for entry permits or visa requirements, dietary requirements to hotels and restaurants, and personal and health details to tour leaders. For set-departure tours, Wild Discovery Ltd will distribute the names, e-mail address and an abbreviated physical address to the other tour participants booked on the same tour and encourage shared transport where possible. If you do wish for your name and/or e-mail address and/or abbreviated physical address to be included in this distribution, please inform us of this during the booking process.
We may share your information with an enforcement body (i.e. police) where disclosure is authorised or required by law, or with insurance providers or medical personnel. This may be for identification of fraud or error, for regulatory reporting and compliance, or if we believe the disclosure is necessary to lessen or prevent a threat to life, health or safety.
